Snack Sale Info

  • Snacks donated for our Healthy Snack Sales cannot have sugar (in any form) listed as first ingredient on package.  Other names for sugar include: corn syrup, fructose, high fructose corn syrup, galactose, glucose, lactose, dextrin, malt, maltose, maple syrup, molasses, sucrose and honey. 

    Also, donated snacks cannot have more than 8 grams of total fat per serving and/or no more than 2 grams of saturated fat per serving. 

    Candy and soda are also not approved.  The Saddle Brook BOE approved this NJ Model School Nutrition Policy in June 2007.
