Department Overview

  • The Career Readiness Department exposes students to the world of business, design, and production. All high school students are required to take one full year of a Career Readiness course, but we strongly encourage students to stay enrolled throughout their high school career to dive into the more intricate topics of the field.

In our Career Readiness department, we offer introductory and advanced level courses of Accounting, Graphic Design, Web Development, CAD Modeling & Manufacturing, Video Editing, and Engineering. On top of that, we also offer Financial Literacy (which is a graduation requirement), TV Production, 21st Century Careers, Tomorrow's Teachers, and Exploring Aviation & Aerospace.

**Graphic Design and Advanced Graphic Design can either count towards the Visual/Performing Arts graduation requirement OR the Career Readiness graduation requirement.
