Overview

The members of the Saddle Brook Board of Education are elected state officials charged with the general supervision and control of our public schools. Although their main function may be viewed as a policy-making body, they also maintain a key role in the creation of short and long term plans to maintain, modify and improve the educational delivery system for the children of Saddle Brook.
The Board of Education conducts two formal meetings per month. The first meeting or Caucus meeting is scheduled to review and discuss all matters under consideration for that specific month and to create the formal agenda for the month. The purpose of the second meeting, known as the Regular meeting, is to vote or take action on all items on the agenda set during caucus. The public is always welcome to attend both meetings and are afforded an opportunity to address the board as well.
