Brenda Coffey joined the Saddle Brook community in 2014 as the Middle School Vice Principal. Ms. Coffey is now the Principal of the Middle School. She will continue to focus on character education and fostering a nurturing and safe environment in order to increase student achievement.

Ms. Coffey earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with a Minor in Political Science from St. John’s University. Upon graduating, Ms. Coffey worked for the NYC Public School system. During this time she completed her graduate degree in Educational Administration from Pace University.

Ms. Coffey has over twenty years of educational experience spanning grades K-12 with a specific concentration in literacy and mathematics. She has been responsible for writing and implementing new curricula for both New York and New Jersey in Language Arts and Math.

Prior to coming to Saddle Brook, Ms. Coffey was a Literacy Coach for the Hackensack Middle School.  Ms. Coffey looks forward to working with you as a partner in education to ensure your child’s success.
