Home Instruction

The Saddle Brook School District provides Home Instruction to students who are absent for ten (10) consecutive school days upon a submitted request from the student's physician and subsequently approval from the district's physician, according to BOE Policy 2481. Parents must download the related Home Instruction Request Form posted below, complete their portion of the form and then forward to their physician for completion. The completed Home Instruction Form must be returned to Mrs. Jaynellen Behre Jenkins at jjenkins@sbpsnj.org. Mrs. Jenkins will facilitate the approval process and coordinate the home instruction assignments. Students on Home Instruction will receive ten (10) hours of instruction per week. A family adult member must be present in the location of the Home Instruction at all times.
