Department Overview

The Office of Academic Programs houses the curriculum department, as well as the Director of Research, Planning, and Evaluation.  

Our Director of Curriculum & Instruction oversees the development, alignment, and implementation of high-quality curriculum and instructional practices across all grade levels. This role supports teachers and administrators by providing professional development, evaluating instructional programs, and ensuring that all students have access to a rigorous, standards-based education. The Director works closely with school leadership to promote innovative teaching strategies that enhance student engagement and academic success.

Our Director of Research, Planning, and Evaluation leads the district’s efforts in using data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement. This role involves analyzing student performance data, coordinating assessments, and evaluating educational programs to measure their effectiveness. The Director also supports strategic planning efforts, ensuring that district goals are evidence-based and aligned with the needs of students, staff, and the community.
